Southall Train Station

Stromtechs Ltd have recently completed the electrical installation of Southall Train Station for Fourways Communications Ltd.

This project was part of Crossrail for the new Elizabeth Line and a complete upgrade to the existing station.

An extensive containment system was installed throughout for Sub Mains, Lighting and Power, Fire Alarm, Data and PAVA to Network Rail Standard – inclusive of ladder rack, trunking, tray and basket.

Sub Mains was installed across the station, including to the new lifts which now provides step free access via the new footbridge. This included interfacing with existing supplies ensuring the station was able to stay functioning.

Stromtechs provided new lighting and power throughout the station including the footbridge and ticket hall. New staff and welfare areas also benefitted from this new installation and the external lights provide a safe entrance/exit to the station.

Stromtechs installed all cabling for the Fire Alarm, Comms cables and PAVA.

This project was delivered on time and to the very high standard expected from Crossrail, Network Rail and TFL.
